Well, I'm back home from Florida :( I've been there many times, a few times w/ family & the rest with school(performing there & such) and was never a big fan.
BUT on this vacation, I saw the other side of Florida, and I fell in love. Literally, as soon as I stepped onto Cocoa Beach, my heart dropped & I knew this is where I was suppose to be. I surfed a good portion of the time we were down there, saw a whale just hanging out, and dolphins were EVERYWHERE as we surfed, met some amazing people, has some amazing food & good music...I could go on & on! (not to mention I met an incredibly amazing man whose the lifeguard at the beach we were at, and lets just say he fits my definition of perfect.)
So now that I'm back to reality alllll I can find myself doing is thinking of how beautiful Cocoa Beach is, and how simple life is down there. I find myself looking on craigslist for apartments or ocean front condos. I found this one, and talked to the real estate agent too about it...soooo I MAY MAY just make a deposit. I cant relocate until September though http://spacecoast.craigslist.org/apa/1064900249.html
I think I may still hold off until I visit Japan. Now I'm trying to get the damn Walmart picture CD to work...because my sister loves her old camera that takes rolls of film ughhh!

So, what's the deal with planes crashing in NY?! I love being woken up when I actually make it to bed early and my boss calling me at 12 to tell me we have an alert, a plane just went down... My prayers are with those affected by FLT 3407.
I have great feeling that this weekend is going to be filled with wandering, discovering the unknown of New Haven, fantastic unknown movies, and excellent cuddles. I'm a happy girl.

INAUGURATION NATION.
I've never seen so many people, EVER. I'm in D.C. right now. Waiting to be seated in my seat (which is one row behind Dustin Hoffman) I hope they don't show me crying haha! I just saw the King family walk by us... I almost passed out. Right now I'm like a little kid in a candy store. My co-worker Kerry keeps reminding me to breathe. The members of the 11th congress are right in front of me, waiting to be seated. I can't believe where I am right now. I am so emotional, ecstatic, and incredibly grateful. Less than an hour and 1/2! Off to get seated!
I can't wait to tell my children this story.
CHANGE HAS COME.

I really gotta try & continue to keep up with this. I always forget I have it.
Anyways, soo much has been going on. Life is ridiculously busy, I have no complaints. My dad received his liver transplant, thank you to everyone's love & prayers. He's recovering well! My sisters are amazing, we're closer than ever. Tara suprised me last week by telling me that since my b-day is in February, we always do something cold, like snowboarding or going to ME, or VT. So she booked us a timeshare at a resort in FL for 6 days for my 24th!!! We'll be there from March 6-14th. I'm soo excited. But this means tanning, and shopping.
I'm now packing up my bags once again to head to DC for the inauguration! I leave tomorrow & will be there until early Wednesday. I'm soo exited, although I do feel Obama is going a bit overboard. This is the most expensive inauguration in American history & it's during a time our whole country is suffering. It just seems a bit much & not right. Non the less, I'm still excited & grateful to experience history. My ballroom dress is beautiful & I want to wear it every day! It cost a good penny, that's for sure.

How is everyonee?!

Dear McCain supporters,
Although you are dealing with defeat, I commend you.
To me the past 22 months have been like watching a sporting event.
And really, the only sporting event I love whole heartily.
You may argue that our generation is stereotypical & brainwashed.
I speak for myself, but I have studied both candidates extremely since the prelims & actually did not decide my choice for candidate up until about 2 weeks ago. I if asked, could easily have named more than 10 reasons why I voted for who I did. The youth vote was only 1% higher than in 2004... (which is an actual big numerical increase-but not as much of an increase that was expected.) and throughout the campaign I was able to meet other young voters from all different backgrounds who were very well informed on their decis ions. I'm well aware of what this country has done by stepping out & taken this risk.
And other voters are as well.
To me, it seems like an easy out excuse to be quite honest.
7 million more votes were not all just media brainwashed Neo-Hippies.
The McCain camp ran an excellent campaign.
John McCain was an excellent Republican candidate, and I admire his devotion to this country & the people.
I truly believe that.
You do not have to like the fact that Obama took President-Elect.
You do not have to accept him as our President by any means.
People are scared, 2 wars & a failing economy... Look where 8 years has gotten this country. We've had enough.
But 7,075,367 more voters turned out to have their voice heard.
Now once again, it's drawn to an end & America still moves forward.
Regardless.
"This victory alone is not the change we seek - it is only the chance for us to make that change.
And that cannot happen if we go back to the way things were.
And to all those who have wondered if Americas beacon still burns as bright - tonight we proved once more that the true strength of our nation comes not from our the might of our arms or the scale of our wealth, but from the enduring power of our ideals: democracy, liberty, opportunity, and unyielding hope. " - President-Elect Obama, Chicago Nov 5th. 2008
Sincerely, Caitlin E. O'Neill 11.05.08

People want me dead...
moveon.org cracks me upppp, hahaaa! Life is awesome. Seriously, no complaints. I'll return at another time to update everyone on my trip & life. Right now, I'm going to make my sister some food(she was in an accident last week) then hopefully I'll be on my way to Boston to see Topher & Mr. Matthew Quinn aka Ebon, my scruffy bad ass sidekick. For those of you that have seen 30 Days of Night , Matthew & I are going to be Stella & Ebon for Halloween. We will be destroying all the people dressed as vampires/zombies on Halloweeen while melodically, in the background as we do so, Explosions in the sky will be playing. So at least you will be being destroyed to some good tunes! Just giving you guys a heads up. Annywaysss Ok, time to get some stuff done & figure out If I can get up to Beantown! Have a fabulous weekend all!

"Girls in NY look like giraffes. Long neck,Long Legs, tiny tits & ass. Girls by the sea, dress like hippies. Write love beads & go skinny dippin'. Let me tell you about a girl I know. She likes hip hop & Rock n' Roll. Let me tell you about a girl I love. Baby will you be my corona & lime. And I will be your main squeeze."

I can't believe August is in 2 days. I've been beyond stressed out lately. Work, interning, getting ready for Spain, getting ready to move, and then school starting. Also, was completely freaking out that my passport was never going to get here. Then I received it in the mail today :) I just drove my Jeep down to D.C. this past weekend. I miss D.C.
It's that time of year again :( Jennifer Lynn Galbraith
 (please notice her L.A.M.B. bag<3)
I will be in Spain, when Jen's 3 year anniversary arrives (8/18/05). As most of you know, as I've mentioned every year for the past 3 years... Jen was one of my greatest friends, whom I lost in a tragic accident. Jake arranged to get a white dove & I'm going to release it over the Mediterranean sea. I still think of her every single day. Such a strong beautiful soul.
(Her mother sent me this-It's the rock that is in front of the entry way to the cave.)
I'm happy Enola was not injured in the earthquake yesterday<3 and I hope all is well with everyone!
"Baby will you my Corona & lime and I will be your main squeeze. Let me tell you about a girl I know, she likes hip hop & Rock n' Roll. She stays at home cause she hates the club. Let me tell you about a girl I love..."
(Jen would have loved that song.)

I'm in D.C. until Sunday. I absolutely love this city. I hate leaving it. Spain in 3 weeks.

Today was beautiful. Actually this whole weekend was beautiful. Good friends & good times. I met a gorgeous girl named Robyn, who is pretty much Chelsea's long lost twin. So now since Chels is in Cali, I have a little replacement!
I'm really happy we are talking again. I'm pretty sure you will always be that one person you can't ever let go of. I'm happy that person is you.
